Cathy Wilcock
Cathy Wilcock - Oboe/Cor Anglais

Cathy is a Fellow of the Trinity College of Music, where she was awarded the Founder's Prize. She has studied oboe with Stephen Nagy, Sidney Sutcliffe and David Theodore and is currently much in demand as a freelance musician and instrumental teacher.

Among many solo appearances, she has played for the BBC on Radio 2 and for Radio 4's 'Daily Service'. Cathy is presently a member of two ensembles: the Beaumont Ensemble and the Abbey Ensemble. She is an experienced orchestral player and plays in orchestras in the South East and East Anglia.

Cathy has performed in many significant venues such as London's Royal Albert Hall, St John's Smith Square and Fairfield Hall, Croydon. In 2005 Cathy gave the premiere perormance of the oratorio 'Julian' by Roger Mayor at Norwich Cathedral which consisted of oboe, flute and timpani. She has recently given a solo recital in St Michael's Church, Aylsham as part of their lunchtime concert series where she was accompanied by David Dunnett (Organist, Norwich Cathedral).

Cathy is married with three children; her two youngest sons are choristers at Norwich Cathedral, and her eldest son has recently retired as head chorister.


Sarah Andrew
Sarah Andrew - Violin/Viola

Sarah is a graduate of the University of East Anglia where she studied viola with Elizabeth Holbrook.

At this time Sarah was sponsored by the Forteviot Trust in Perth, Scotland to finance the purchase of her Christopher Rowe Viola. She also received two scholarships from the university; the G F Handel Scholarship and the George Alfred Norman Watkins Memorial Scholarship.

Since leaving Scotland in 2000, Sarah has performed in many orchestral, chamber and choral concerts including performances with the Arco String Quartet. Additionally, Sarah has worked with many prominent musicians such as Michael George, Jill Morton and Jana Novokova. She has also performed in master classes for both the Maggini and the Amadeus String Quartets.

Until recently Sarah was studying with Emmanuel Hurwitz in London, but is now studying with Simon Rowland-Jones, also in London. Sarah is much in demand as a freelance musician and instrumental teacher in Norwich and Cambridge. She is also a founder member of the Adelaide String Quartet for which she plays regularly, and with whom she has recently performed in Dublin.

As a singer, Sarah has various Choral and solo experience ranging from Church music to music on a more secular level. Her solo performances include classical, songs from the shows, and Jazz. Sarah has studied with several Singing teachers including Geoff Davidson, Norfolk and Ashley Stafford, London. Sarah is currently much in demand as a singing teacher at The Wharf Academy of Music, Thorpe House and Langley Prep School, and from home.


Ian Willis
Ian Willis - Piano

Ian is a graduate of the London College of Music where he studied piano under Robin Stone and euphonium under Tony Parsons. Whilst studying for his degree he also gained Licentiate diplomas in piano and euphonium. On leaving Music College, Ian gained his PGCE at Avery Hill College of Education.

Ian has over thirty years experience as a class music teacher, an instrumental teacher and a freelance musician. He has performed in many significant venues such as London's Royal Albert Hall. St James Piccadilly, St Martins in the Fields and Fairfield Hall, Croydon. He is in demand as both a teacher and accompanist.

Ian is married with four children. Until recently he was the Director of Music at Thorpe House School and is presently seeking to develop his work as a freelance musician and instrumental teacher.
