The Abbey Ensemble

The Abbey Ensemble is a group of professional and experienced musicians based in Norwich. Our players adapt easily to suit every wedding and function with a varied repertoire. We respect our clients' personal tastes and will happily add pieces to our ever-increasing play-list on request.

Our wedding service includes both civil and religious ceremonies, as much of our music can be played with either organ or piano. We are happy to use our portable piano if necessary and always provide a helpful and friendly service.

Our pianist/organist Matthew Pitts has wide experience of playing the organ for weddings at cathedrals and churches all over the country and is available to play for your wedding ceremony either as a stand-alone service or at a reduced rate if you choose to hire the Abbey Ensemble for your reception.

We are also available for hire to play in concerts, both as an ensemble and as soloists.
